Rollz International is a Dutch company that produces and sells rollators of its own brand via retailers at home and abroad and within the Netherlands directly via its own webshop. Rollz also provides the promotion and branding of the Rollz brand worldwide.
Rollz never uses your data without permission for purposes other than those for which you have provided it. Rollz respects your privacy, so we treat your personal details carefully. This privacy statement describes how Rollz uses and protects all information that you provide when you use this website or otherwise contact us. Rollz is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Even if you provide certain information with which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it is only used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Read this statement carefully to understand how Rollz can collect, use and share your personal information. The terms ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘Rollz’ all refer to Rollz International.
Which data does Rollz collect?
When you fill in a web form on our websites, place an order, register your product, register as a Rollz ambassador, subscribe to a newsletter, when you respond to promotional activities, file a warranty claim or just call us, we can collect the following information:
- your name;
- your contact details, including e-mail address;
- information about Rollz products that you own;
- the dealer where you purchased your product;
- other information that is relevant to provide you with the best possible service and for customer surveys and / or offers.
What does Rollz do with the collected information?
We need this information to understand the needs of customers and in Rollz interested consumers and to provide you with a better service, in particular for the following reasons:
- To be able to deliver the Rollz products and to support delivery, so that our customers have the best possible experience with their Rollz products.
- To respond to customer inquiries and comments, make repairs and provide service to consumers and dealers.
- To perform analyzes to improve products, website offerings and service.
- To be able to send you post or mail or newsletters and to personalize these.
Sometimes customers share extra personal data by mail or telephone or otherwise. These data are only recorded if they are necessary to help you further and these are kept for as long as necessary.
How long does Rollz store personal data?
Rollz processes personal data as long as necessary for the purpose for which the data is used. Data is saved until you indicate that it can be deleted. The guarantee period for our products is two years, but our products last much longer. By retaining the data, we can continue to provide service throughout the life of the product.
Of course, recipients of newsletters can unsubscribe via a link in every newsletter and their contact details are then removed from the mailing list.
How does Rollz protect consumer data?
The consumer data that Rollz has is protected as well as possible through technical and organizational security measures. For example, there is a password policy and the data is protected from the internet via a secure internet connection. Employees also follow authorization procedures to ensure the security of your personal data and to prevent this data from being accessed, stolen, misused, disclosed, modified or destroyed by unauthorized persons.
Provision to third parties
Your personal information is obviously not sold, distributed or rented to third parties. We do, however, pass on the information you provide to third parties if this is necessary for the delivery of the ordered products or services requested. For example, we use a third party for the processing of iDeal payments in our Dutch webshop and we pass on your details to the mail deliverer to deliver your order to you.
When we provide your data to a third party, we provide (in an agreement) that your data will not be used for other purposes.
Data in the Rollz App
No personal data is collected or shared as a result of communication between the Rollz app and a Rollz module. This data remains private and is stored only locally, on the phone.
- When connecting to a Rollz device/module, the personal data from the Rollz device/module is stored only on your phone or tablet. This data remains private to you.
- Only data about malfunctions will be collected and used to improve the Rollz app. This data is collected anonymously through the Android Google Play or Apple App Store.
Cookies on our websites
Furthermore, information about the use of our website is collected via analytical cookies. These ‘traffic log’ cookies identify which pages are visited, which pages you find useful and which not. This helps us analyze data about web traffic and improve our website to adapt it to the needs of our customers. These cookies have been anonymised as much as possible. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes, then the data is removed from the system. Among other things, we use Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Facebook.
The cookies on Rollz.com and Rollz.shop are functional and statistical in nature. For example, they remember which pages you have visited. The web application can adapt the operation to your needs and preferences by collecting and remembering information about it.
Through the cookies of other parties, such as Facebook, you can ‘like’ Rollz products.
Dealers collect their own information
This privacy statement applies to the personal data that Rollz itself processes. These are personal data of private individuals that Rollz has obtained in connection with the offer and sale of the products and services of the Rollz brand. For the most part, consumers purchase Rollz products and services through authorized dealers and other resellers. They are responsible for the management of personal data of consumers.
